The Sphere Handbook is a critical resource that sets the standard for quality and accountability in humanitarian response. Additionally, you will learn about the technical standards in the key sectors of WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), food security and nutrition, shelter and settlement, and health.
As part of this workshop, a practical example of using the Sphere handbook in real-life scenarios is given to ensure you can effectively implement these standards in your work.
This workshop is part of our Sphere Ambassadors Project which aims at improving humanitarian assistance in the Arab region, especially within the countries that suffer from humanitarian crises or their consequences. By promoting and popularizing the knowledge of the Sphere Handbook and offering workshops, this program aims to improve the quality of aid and preserve the dignity of recipients, to strengthen the resilience and well-being of the affected regions.
