Introduction to the New Edition of Core Humanitarian Standard
The Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) is a set of nine commitments that humanitarian organizations can use to improve the quality of their assistance. It is a rights-based and participatory standard that covers a wide range of topics, including participation, protection, and gender. The new edition of the CHS will be launched in early 2024 with a number of updates and revisions.
Access International is excited to offer an online workshop on the new edition of the CHS. This workshop will be facilitated by Maher Alabrash, a listed Sphere Trainer. Maher has over 10-years of experience in the humanitarian sector and has worked in a variety of contexts, including Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.
